HI. Does anyone else wonder why people advertise goods on a site that is National and international, and the sellers won't post?? I honestly don't see the point. Ebay could be a great site but the sellers let it down. Some sellers are downright rude and uncooperative.
I recently tried to buy some car parts from a company and the responses were rubbish. One company was asked, Do you post? answer "yes". At what cost please? Answer " Don't know?" Could you let me know the cost please? Answer " £65". What????? I eventually got it from someone else for £20. If these sellers can't at least be professional then they should be taken off the site.

Mentor5 months agoMembers have the right not to sell on eBay, as you apparently don't, or to deliver within the UK only, or to exclude certain countries or particular regions of the UK from delivery.
There are good reasons why not every seller wishes to offer worldwide delivery. Not all countries have reliable, tracked postal systems and some are renown for criminal activity. Even delivery to traditionally "safe" regions like the US and Europe now carry greater risks for sellers because eBay has made the seller seller responsible for arranging and paying for the international return if the buyer claims the item is not as described. Sellers have already reported concerns that some international buyers are making false claims and refusing to assist in arranging the return, hoping to get their item for free because the cost and difficulty of returns for the seller.
Sellers who exclude particular regions of the UK usually do so because of delivery issues in remote areas. Whilst Royal Mail has a universal delivery, couriers often make a surcharge. This causes all sorts of problems, as RM is generally more expensive for most of the UK, whereas for private sellers in particular it's difficult and complicated to quote variable courier delivery costs. Sellers often face aggression from buyers about paying courier surcharges and many now exclude remote regions from delivery. Whether simple delivery has changed this I don't know.

I've dealt with European sellers and got better service. I've bought and
sold since early 2000,s, on ebay despite my ratings. I had to lose them due
to ebay silly rules. I've run my own business for many years. Good service
and attitude costs nothing. Be respectful.

Mentor5 months agoAre you by chance seeing a notice pop up when you try and buy , something like.... ' seller does not post to your location'., and yet you are both in the UK ?
This is not the seller at fault here, but some strange quirk on eBay , and many have seen this baffling notification.
It seems to be something in the way your address is registered with eBay! For some reason only 39 characters including spaces , should be used per line.
Go over this ' limit' and up pops that ...seller does not post to your location !
If this is the case here, try re writing your address, even moving some to a different line and see if that helps. You then need to ' save as new address', and try and buy that item again!
Use a laptop / PC not the app to amend your address, there are 5 addresses which need to be corrected
