No option to pay with my e-bay balance
Can anyone give some advice on why I can't pay for a reasonable priced item using my eBay balance, I'm a UK e-bayer, trying to buy an item from a US seller, any suggestions ?
Never had this problem before

Mentor6 months agoWhen buying from abroad a currency conversion will be involved, for which there will also be a fee.
This is automatically factored in to the procedure when you pay through checkout using a financial institution e.g. credit or debit card issuer as payment provider. It wouldn't be practicable to do the same for payment taken direct from monies held in your account.

Mentor6 months agoWithdraw to your bank and pay by another method. If you read details of what money in your ebay account can be used for, you will find it excludes overseas payments.
Probably something to do with exchange rates.
