eBay's policy in conjunction with UK law is quite clear. Credit cards are the only form of age verification they accept, as you have to be 18 to have a CC. Annoyingly its blanket and some items probably don't deserve to be included in this policy, such as one seller who got into a spot of bother with AI for listing a jigsaw puzzle, AI got excited with the word jigsaw and removed the listing.... Wonders will never cease.
