Nintendo switch game arrived with smashed case
Hey, looking for advice, i have sold a game for Nintendo switch, it was wrapped in bubble wrap and put in cardboard envelope or a bag. It was smashed when it arrived. Got damaged in transit. Buyer did not request a refund but i want to fixed that for him. I used eBay Simple delivery. How do i sort it. Thanks

Mentor5 months agoWith Simple Delivery you are protected if items are lost or damaged in transit. That means ebay will pay the refund, not you, when the buyer opens a claim.
So ask the buyer to open a return using "item damaged in delivery" as the reason. Then eBay will issue the refund themselves and you keep the original payment. They will not be required to return the item.
