New item sold on eBay with 6 year waranty - how do I make a claim? | Member To Member Support

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a new carburetter kit for my Stihl blower off of ebay in December 2025. I chose the seller as he offered a 6 year guarantee 🙂 Unfortunately once I received the item the quality of some of the items was very poor & I sent a note advising my disatisfaction. Seller responded requesting photos & unfortunately by the time I replied it was out of the 30 day money back period. Parts were fitted to the machine & it ran fine for a couple of months & then failed 😞 ( say x3 times usage for say 50 mins). Petrol I use is the best available & I also use additives to avoid damage. I sent another note to the seller advising same some 3 times after the failure to no avail. How are you supposed to claim against a guarantee using eBay? The supplier is in Hong Kong. Any help very much appreciated. I bought lots of kit like this off of eBay mostly China & never had any problems.
