New iPhones actually refurbished with non-genuine counterfeit parts
I bought a brand new boxed iPhone from a seller.
Soon after I bought it (late September) my wife dropped it and the rear glass broke. This was strange as it was in a Spigen case. Anyway didn't affect the functionality. Suddenly it stopped working, wouldn't boot screen wouldn't come on could restore it.
Took it to the Apple Store. Technician diagnostic checks showed that the blue iPhone was originally pink (I have a photo of this diagnostic screen), that the rear housing was almost certainly non-genuine and it likely had many parts that were non-genuine. The checks suggested it was a problem with the motherboard.
So its just outside ebays 90 day window, the seller won't accept a return cause the fake rear housing glass is broken.
I have raised a report with Ebay.
How do I get my money back. This is fraud and I have proof and also a counterfeit product, as it will have non-genuine parts.

OP6 months ago@john thank you , I just mixed up the sellers supposed warranty.
its just outside the 120 days. I raised a dispute with Klarna. If that doesn’t work I will go through small claims.

Mentor6 months agoJust for information, ebay money back guarantee is Only 30 days. No idea why you would think it is 90 days.

Mentor6 months agoIf it's less than 120 days contact your payment provider and ask about a refund or chargeback. If you used your credit card you can try a Section 75 claim:
