New Business Seller Account Restricted Permanently

Hello everyone,
We are looking for guidance regarding a business account restriction that we believe may have been caused by a verification mismatch during setup.
We recently launched a UK educational publishing business called Ethiza Learning Ltd, selling our own original educational worksheet packs aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
Before listing a single item or completing any sale, our business seller account was permanently restricted (in January 2026). We contacted support multiple times and explained that although the company is registered in my wife’s name (the company director), I manage the technical and operational side of the business, including marketplace setup and website management. For that reason, the initial eBay account was created under my name while using the company’s business bank account and company information.
We fully understand that this may have triggered automated verification or risk checks, but we want to emphasise that:
* we are a legitimate UK registered company
* we sell only our own educational materials
* we have no history of policy violations
* both of our long-standing personal eBay accounts are in good standing (15+ years old accounts)
We now created a new business account directly under the director’s name, but that account was also automatically restricted, likely due to account association.
We are not trying to bypass policies or open multiple selling accounts improperly. We simply want to resolve the verification issue correctly and transparently.
We are happy to provide:
* Companies House registration
* Director identification
* Proof of business bank account
* Proof of ownership of our educational materials
* Website verification
* Proof of acceptance of Trademark application
Has anyone experienced something similar or successfully resolved this type of restriction through manual review or executive escalation?
Any constructive advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
