need to speak to a human on ebay cust services
Summary: darkarts1984 is seeking help with canceling an order on eBay after a buyer initially requested a cancellation but then gave mixed signals about proceeding. tommystrezures advised to cancel orders promptly to avoid potential issues and provided instructions on how to do so via the seller hub. darkarts1984 is struggling to reach eBay customer service for further assistance.
Hi all hoping you are well this fine Sunday,
hoping for a spot of help if you would please,
I have a buyer that bought something then requested to cancel but said if id sent it not to bother and proceed, i had packed the item and was heading to the drop-off so i "proceeded" but still gave the buyer a written option to cancel if they still wanted off course they still wanted , so the previous comment to proceed was just unessasry.
my problem now is that the cancellation request has been closed and i cannot find a way to cancel the order neither on the buyers side, also just cant get to a human on to aid in this the Ai is basic and unhelpful.
if anybody knows how i can talk to ebay cust services a person that would be awesome, thanking you in advance thanks John

Mentor3 weeks agoI'm not clear on what you 'proceeded' with, can you explain what that action was?

Mentor3 weeks agoGoto your seller hub (on desk top) goto orders, find the order click the circle with three dots in it a drop down menu will appear. Cancel order is about the 6th or 7th down on the list.
Whenever a buyer requests to cancel always best too, as they can use a spurious reason to return. (and you then also end up paying the return postage)
