I recently faced a bit of a conundrum while trying to purchase a mini chainsaw on eBay. As a bladed item, eBay requires age verification via a credit card. The wrinkle in my plan is that I neither own nor want to own a credit card. Being an active eBay member with 100% positive feedback and nearly 25 years of experience, this is a new challenge for me.
From what I understand, using PayPal might be an option for age verification. I use PayPal regularly, and it would be my preferred method for this purchase.
