I CANNOT believe I am having to ask this in here,.. nanny state gone absolutely, stark, raving MAD. I need to order a pair of NAIL CLIPPERS, but, because some loopy do-da wally decided to (or might) use nail clippers to assault someone, we cannot now buy them WITHOUT BEING ASKED TO PROVE OUR AGE???? Seriously???? REALLY?? Holy do-das.
You (eBay) offer us a way to verify with a bank card,. so, I enter that information and,. wow,.. it's not the right TYPE of bank card, it has to be a CREDIT card,. WHICH I CHOOSE NOT TO OWN!
So,.. how do I buy a pair of harmless, safe, NAIL CLIPPERS??
This is BEYOND infuriatingly stupid.

Mentor3 weeks ago · EditedBuy at your local shop, I cannot believe that including postage they are a bargain on ebay, or that they are so rare that your local Chemist does not sell them.
This of course is another example of the stupidity of allowing AI to make decisions.

OP3 weeks agoI eventually did, good thing they had them and didn't require a passport, driver's licence, a signed sanity commission release document and a mug-shot to show I'm not a menace to society! Phew!
