My Pre-paid postage label does not cover the correct weight and size - can I pay the difference

Just sold an item and realised the postage the buyer has paid does not cover the true cost of sending.  My fault as I went with ebay's recommended option without fully checking it covered it.   I read I could cancel the label but when I try it says I cannot for this order.  Presumably as it's UK Royal Mail.   Tried to get help via the Customer Service contact but the bot does not understand my questions.   Is there any way I can just pay the additiona...

If it is Simple Delivery, you can't cancel the label. You won't be able to pay an additional charge and use the label. The buyer will have paid Ebay directly for the label and if it isn't used, the buyer will be refunded by Ebay within 30 days.   You can either cancel the sale, refund the buyer and relist the item with enough postage so the buyer can buy again, or you can send it at your own cost and take the loss.
