My order payment isn't going through.

My order payment isn't going through.
I am unable to pay for my order using a bank card. I followed all the instructions and entered the details correctly—I even updated them. However, when I try to pay by card and complete the purchase, a message appears: "Please check your payment details or use a different payment method." I want to pay by card, but nothing seems to work. I consulted the eBay Help section and followed the recommendations, yet I still cannot pay by card; I keep seeing the same message: "Please check your payment details or use a different payment method." When I attempt to pay with a bank card, a red box pops up at the top saying, "Please check your payment card details or use a different payment method," and the payment fails. What is the reason for this? I followed all the instructions and even deleted and re-entered my bank card details. Because of this issue, I already abandoned one eBay order and made the purchase on another platform instead. I wouldn't want to give up on eBay entirely, but if the problem persists, I will have to look for other marketplaces. Thank you. Best regards , Natalia.

OP2 weeks agoEverything is fine now, and the card is working. I can't figure out why the payment with the bank card wasn't going through.

Mentor2 months agoWhat are you trying to buy, as some purchases require a credit card to be used for payment.
This is, for any bladed item, and the range is huge, including items you would not immediately think of as ' bladed', for example, a cake slice or nail clippers.
Cards also need to have 6 months validity.

OP2 months agoI tried to buy cat litter. The payment didn't go through, even though payments for orders on other platforms work fine. My bank card is valid until 2031.

Mentor2 months agoThen there shouldn't be a problem, i presume a debit card, some of the online banks have problems but Lloyds are classed as one of the big 6 so to speak, the only other thing I can think of its not a new card that hasn't been verified by pin?

OP2 months agoI thought there wouldn't be any issues either. The bank blocked the payment for a short while (I couldn't complete a purchase on one site) but then lifted the block. Everything is fine on other sites—payments go through (like on Amazon)—but there's a problem with eBay; I can't pay with my bank card... The payment just won't go through. No, it's the same card, and the PIN hasn't changed.
