My Old Phone Number - Selling - Simple Delivery - Royal Mail - Collection

No big issue. Sold an item (private seller), thought I'd try Royal Mail Collection. I noticed the last digits of the obscured number as my old phone number. Question is, where is this number passed from. I've checked my eBay account and Royal Mail account and they look fine - holding my current number. I didn't look further and will take item to post office but have other items so will see if I can glean more info with them. Any info that may help much appreciated but will respond once...

Your phone number is also with all your addresses at My eBay > Account > Personal Info > Addresses.Make sure it's correct at your payment and collection address.   Here's a direct link:https://accountsettings.ebay.co.uk/uas/addresses
