my account has been marked as a BELOW STANDARD SELLER
Summary: ylsnanny1 is a long-time eBay seller facing challenges due to their account being marked as 'Below Standard.' They express frustration over declining sales and difficulties in altering listings, attributing these issues to eBay's policies and support channels. Despite maintaining their listings and having satisfied customers, they feel demotivated and are considering stopping their business due to the lack of rewards and ineffective customer support. They seek practical advice to address their situation.
Hi
I am after some advice. I have been a eBay seller for many years, I have many satisfied customers there has only over the years been a handful that have felt it necessary to leave a bad feedback.
I maintain my listings all the time, making all the multitude of changed requested by ebay and many changes I deem important to reach buyers. But despite all of this it has been made by ebay increasing difficult for buyers to find the listing let alone purchase them. My sales have gone down and down, most of my listing have been reduced and reduced as I have now decided that it really is not worth the hastle.
Despite all this ebay have now marked my account as a BELOW STANDARD SELLER so I can't make any alteration and customers have all but disappeared. SHAME ON THEM.
I have over 500 listings remaining I may as well put it all in the bin and call it a day, there definitely is point in carrying on, the amount of effort for no reward.
Really sorry for ranting but I am at my wits end. I have tried to contact customer service but the stupid AI bot just says no one available, I suppose that is also cos of the below standard flag.
Any practical advise would be gratefully received.
Thank you
Yvonne (ylsnanny1)
