Moved to the US, but eBay asks for a Spanish IBAN for payouts
Summary: caltug01 is facing issues with their eBay account created in Europe as they have now moved to the US. They are unable to add their US bank details because the system requests a Spanish IBAN, leading to challenges with receiving payouts from existing sales. tobiasd4 suggests that caltug01 might appear as still being in Spain and advises creating a new account on eBay.com using a different email address. caltug01 is concerned about receiving payments for current sales without a Spanish bank account and seeks further assistance.
I created my eBay account while living in Europe and now live in the United States. When I try to add a bank account for selling payouts, the form asks for an IBAN, shows “ES,” and refers to a SEPA mandate. I only have a US bank account with a routing number and account number.
I have already made a sale on this account and have active listings. Has anyone dealt with this after moving to the US? How did you receive the payout for an existing sale, and did you need to create a new US-registered account for future sales?
I have tried to reach eBay customer support through the Help pages but have not been able to get assistance. If there is a specific contact route for this issue, I would appreciate the details.

Mentor2 weeks agoYou are still showing as being in Spain.
You can't transfer account, you need to open a new ebay account on ebay.com and use a different email address.
