More chance of contacting Elvis, not ebay!
Since I've lost the will to live trying to contact a feckin HUMAN at ebay I thought I would see if any if you would be able to help.
I sold an item, it wasn't delivered. Postage label was purchased through eBay. The buyer said he was told he'd get an automatic refund after a certain date which he got. I couldn't find out anything from ebay, it was the buyer who told me. My question is do I lose out on the sale? Do I have to claim for loss?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf this was a Simple Delivery transaction , and the buyer opens a case for item not received, eBay refunds the buyer, and you the seller, get to keep the payout.

OP3 weeks ago · EditedReally? So I don't need to do anything at all. I was worried the buyer would give me bad feedback if I didn't refund immediately. Do I need to claim the money from ebay or do they just automatically refund the buyer and refund me?

Mentor3 weeks agoYou keep the buyer's payment, ebay refunds the buyer.

OP3 weeks agoAh good. Is this a recent thing because it never used to be like that. Is this since they brought in the 'buyer protection' because I thought that only protected the buyer
