More chance of contacting Elvis, not ebay!
Since I've lost the will to live trying to contact a feckin HUMAN at ebay I thought I would see if any if you would be able to help.
I sold an item, it wasn't delivered. Postage label was purchased through eBay. The buyer said he was told he'd get an automatic refund after a certain date which he got. I couldn't find out anything from ebay, it was the buyer who told me. My question is do I lose out on the sale? Do I have to claim for loss?

Mentor1 month agoIf this was a Simple Delivery transaction , and the buyer opens a case for item not received, eBay refunds the buyer, and you the seller, get to keep the payout.

OP1 month ago · EditedReally? So I don't need to do anything at all. I was worried the buyer would give me bad feedback if I didn't refund immediately. Do I need to claim the money from ebay or do they just automatically refund the buyer and refund me?

OP1 month agoAh good. Is this a recent thing because it never used to be like that. Is this since they brought in the 'buyer protection' because I thought that only protected the buyer
