Money on hold

Hi,Sold an item on eBay, first time.Item sold on 17/10 eBay saying money will be in on 22/10 say they are holding to verify my account. How long will this take, it's the 22nd today and money not been released.Thank you.

Initial payouts for new sellers can take longer, and payouts can be held for 21 days or more , for all verification processes to be completed, this is different for different peeps, there isn't one standard timeline.

Have you received 2 micro deposits into the bank account you nominated for eBay's Managed Payments, and confirmed and reported those figures back to eBay?
