Money in my ebay account not available for purchases
My account shows a sizeable balance due to July sales but when I try to buy an item, my June balance comes up and it tries to make me pay. How can I get ebay to update the balance to my purchase facility?

I've just checked for you, and it looks like your balance can be used for purchases no problem. There is a chance that your funds became available between yesterday and today when I checked. However, if you still don't see your balance available, please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to take a further look.
However, to clarify, please note that sometimes you will see some held amounts, while others are available. When this happens, you will only be able to use the available funds to place orders, the held ones will remain on hold until they become available. Eventually, you will qualify for faster payouts, and you won't see as many held funds, and will be able to use your eBay balance.

Mentor1 week agoThis was eBay's announcement last year, as to how payouts are to be made:
From 6 August 2025, we’re also making it easier and faster for our more experienced sellers to receive their funds. This means you can get your funds within 24 hours of the buyer paying. To qualify for faster payment, all you’ll need to do is:
Complete at least 10 sales with a total of £150 or more within the last 5 years
Maintain 2 or fewer cases in the last 12 months

Mentor1 week agoYou seem to be classed still as a new seller which means money on hold for a time.
There should be dates when money will be released, but once you qualify money is released within 24 hours.
