hi, i think i just want a rant because i am having problems now listing my late father's power tools because of the bladed items policies. I have just wasted lots of time creating a listing for a 21 kilo bench scroll saw which i have no way of lifting myself to be able to post it out (can't lift it to pack it) and i tried to offer it for collection only. When i'd spent ages on the ad and tried to upload i was told it had to be postage with age verification. I should have realised even though i cannot see how this tool could possibly be used as a weapon, weighing 21 kilos-unless of course you wanted to drop it on someones foot. Sorry to be glib, but where is the common sense in anything now? I tried to alter the category to get round it and got a further warning telling me it was bladed and not to relist, now i feel like ive committed a crime. Is this what we have to expect because of AI and modern living? I have been listing on ebay for years-i look after another account as well as this one and used to enjoy it. I will have to forget trying to sell some items because it's become too complex and impossible.
