missing returns label - i processed the return via ebay and it now just says "return closed"
Summary: rich1001_sales is facing an issue with a return process on eBay. They processed a refund and chose an option for eBay to create a return label at their expense, but the seller has not received it. Despite attempting to find the label in transaction history or email, they are unable to locate it and seek a solution to avoid purchasing a new label.
i have accepted a seller to return an item to me. I have processed their refund, and during this process i chose the option for ebay to raise a return label, at a cost of about £2.94 to me. I do recall seeing this pdf returns label. i assumed that the automated process would then send this pdf label to the seller to stick on the parcel. However, the seller has contacted me to say they are still awaiting a returns label. I cannot find the returns label with my name / address on, on any of the transaction history, nor an email with it. How can i get this resolved, without having to spend another roughly £3 on another postage label ?

Mentor1 week agoI assume you mean you have accepted a return from a buyer and you are the seller. If so, and you have already issued a refund, the return label is no longer available to the buyer as ebay assumes you don't want the item back.
If you haven't refunded and have issued a return label through the case, the buyer needs to contact ebay to see where it is.
