Missing and delayed parcels since 24th October – Evri & Royal Mail chaos
Hi everyone,
We’re a long-time eBay seller and wanted to share what’s been happening to us recently — maybe others are facing the same issue.
Since around 24th October, we’ve been experiencing an unprecedented number of lost and severely delayed parcels. Some items eventually turned up after nearly two weeks, but many have still not arrived at all, even those worth £100 or more.
What’s even more frustrating is that some shipments never even appeared in the courier tracking system — it’s as if they were never scanned or collected. We’ve seen this happening with both Evri and Royal Mail, which makes it even harder to manage or explain to our customers.
We’ve been selling on eBay for years and never had so many delivery issues in such a short time. It’s becoming impossible to keep up with replacements and claims.
Is anyone else experiencing the same since late October? Have you had any success getting help or explanations from eBay or the couriers?
This situation is really discouraging — thousands of posts across the forum show we’re not alone, but it doesn’t seem like any real solution is being offered.
