Missed out on Sales as bidders unable to bid today 5010 error messages

Hi,
i had a number of auctions today end where bidders could not place bids as they were getting a 5010 error message stating unfortunately the item can not be sent to the uk.
However opening bids were placed by UK bidders and i am in the UK.
As an example item number -287463868497
Has anyone had this before and as i have lost out on money is there a way of obtaining compensation due to this error ?

Mentor3 weeks agoThere was a site issue last night, and many were affected with this technical glitch, hopefully all fixed today.
Very frustrating for the many who were also bidding on a closing auction and could not complete!
