minor issue with item i sold authentication guarantee

Question

hi all I just sold a bracelet and ebay used the authentication guarantee which i am glad aout.

however the authenticator has stated a minor isse with the item.

they have stated that the item does not have the metal purity mark advertised in the listing but it does meet the purity level.

on one of the pictures can be seen the numbers 750 on the link for the purity.

has anyone else had this type of issue at all?

Yes, it has arisen before and I recall that there are quite detailed conditions regarding hallmarks or similar that the authenticators will accept.

The conditions will be explained in the guidance on eBay's authentication service. I don't have time to look this up now, but you should be able to find it quite easily. Or another responder may be able to post the link.
