Messages not in message folder
My selling overview shows a snippet of a message sent to me from a buyer next to the listing with the option to Reply at the right of the message. However, the message is not in my messages folder nor does clicking Reply take me to the message.
The message is nowhere to be found so I can neither read it nor reply. Another inexplicably ridiculous ebay idea....

OPSep 16, 2026 at 8:58 PMThere is often a need for messages - buyers have questions about items or sellers need to explain things. I have received plenty of messages over the years and have also asked questions of sellers.
The question is why is ebay withholding the messages ?
