Messages from “buyers”?
So I recently listed an item on eBay and within perhaps a few minutes I received 2 messages from 2 different people stating the following:
We are pleased to inform you that your item has been successfully sold!
However, before you can receive your funds, we need to perform a small verification of your account.
[insert what I think is a link???]
Here's what you should do:
1. Copy the link above ↑
2. Paste this link into url address bar
3. Complete a quick identity verification
should I just ignore and delete the message???

Mentor5 months agoYes, ignore and delete. It's a scam phishing message. Any verification should be done in your account, not via a message. More details here:
