Make an offer payment
I went to make an offer for a product but then it was asking me to authorise it through my bank. It’s took the payment out and sent me the order confirmation on email, does that mean I own it now or is it a glitch? The offer wasn’t that much of a difference from original price

Mentor9 months agoeBay now requires a payment authority before an offer can be made. This is because of buyers who made offers, but never paid.
eBay will not take payment from your account unless the seller accepts the offer. So if the item is confirmad as sold to you, you have won it.

OP9 months agoRight ok, so I take it that I now own it? Of course till it gets delivered. It’s just confused me and needed someone to clarify it for me

Mentor9 months agoIf you bought it it will be on your purchases list. eBay take payment for offers but it does not complete unless the seller accepts your offer.
