Lost Parcel

Hi all,

I have sold an item through eBay and used Royal Mail to deliver it to the buyer. The item never arrived to the buyer and Royal Mail are claiming it’s lost. Who is at fault and how to I start the claims process?

IF you used simple delivery then Buyer opens a not received case, ebay should be responsible for refunding, not you the seller.

The buyer has to open a case for item not received.

If you sent this as a Simple Delivery transaction, then eBay refund the buyer , and you get to keep the payout.

If you used your own postage, and you do not have tracking to show delivery then you will have to refund the buyer.

That will depend on how the item was sent and you don't say. We need to know whether it was a simple delivery item.
