Loss/ damage of restricted items - simple delivery

In the event that an item sent by simple delivery via Royal Mail which is on the RM restricted list, is lost or damaged by RM, will ebay cover the cost ? (RM will not). Cheers

I doubt it, but check T&C's of SD for exclusions.
