Listing/Incorrect Customer Service Information
Summary: yfoonline25 is concerned about a discrepancy in their eBay shop listings. They are allowed 250 items but can only list 235, despite having sold 15 items. They've received unclear information from eBay's customer service, who suggested that listing items with multiple variations might affect the quota. john1297576 mentioned that sold items still count towards the monthly limit and can only be replaced in the next month.
Hi,
I have a shop where I can list 250 items. The app is showing I have 235 listings, I was wondering why I cannot list 15 more items.
Are the below the possible reason:
1)I have sold 15 items that is the 15 I cannot list
2) EBay does not want me to list some items. I try to end them, a message appears saying I cannot. I just wondering are these now showing as the 15
The standard of eBay Customer Service is shocking. The agent just told me the below, see below in bold, I know this is incorrect information.

You:Yes that is correct

Mentor2 weeks agoI think you can list 250 per month, the fact that 15 have sold does not mean you can replace them until September 1st. when you can list 250.

OP2 weeks agoI did more research - 235 active listings, I must of created or used up 250 total allocations during August (including items that sold or ended), meaning I must wait for the September reset to create new ones or pay 12p per listing. The Customer Service staff did not know what she was on about. I have been incorrect information about a few things from eBay staff.
