Listing showing the wrong currency US $ not UK £ and cannot change this
Summary: mwf_pmj0f is experiencing an issue with eBay listings showing only in dollars and U.S. time zones despite being based in the UK and using eBay.co.uk. tobiasd4 suggests logging out and back into the UK site and cautions about selling high-value items on eBay, recommending an auction house instead. The original concern is that the listing could mislead UK bidders into thinking the seller is U.S.-based.
I have an item scheduled for sale, but for some reason, the listing is only allowing the price to be listed in dollars, and the time in PDT or EST.
I am UK based , on the Ebay.co.uk website and not using a VPN.
Anybody know how to fix this? It's infuriating and may put off UK bidders as a brief glance at the listing makes it look like I am based in th USA.
It's infuriating!
Thanks,
MW

Mentor2 weeks agoI can see price in £.
Logout and make sure you log in to ebay.co.uk.
You are taking a risk with such high value items on ebay.
You can't accept cash, buyers have to pay through ebay.
Even if collected, buyers can still open return case and you have to pay return postage.
If it was me, I would use auction house to sell these items.
