Listing removed for policy violation - refund confirmation
Hello,
I’m looking for confirmation regarding a recent order and refund.
I purchased a Longchamp Le Pliage Large Pink Tote Bag (item number: 406471454701, order 15-13953-73464). The item was listed as an authentic Longchamp bag (brand set as Longchamp, made in France, new with tags).
After receiving the item, I had concerns about authenticity. eBay has since removed the listing for a policy violation, which appears to confirm the issue.
The seller has issued a refund, and the case now shows as closed. I would just like confirmation that:
1. The refund has been fully processed under the eBay Money Back Guarantee
2. No further action is required from me
There was also an earlier cancelled order for the same item which was refunded separately; I want to make sure both refunds are correctly recorded and completed.
Thank you for your help.

OP8 months agoWhen I first requested a return, I mistakenly selected “changed my mind”.
That was an error on my part. The correct reason is that the item is not
authentic / counterfeit.
The bag was listed as a genuine Longchamp item, but the item received is
not authentic. After this, the seller closed the return case, and the
listing has since been removed by eBay for a policy violation, which
supports that the item was not as described.
I’m not trying to reopen the same return for a different reason, but I
would like to know whether it’s possible for this issue to be properly
recorded under “not as described / counterfeit”, rather than “changed my
mind”, as that selection was made in error.
I just want to ensure the case is correctly documented and that everything
is fully resolved on eBay’s side.
Thank you for your help.

Mentor7 months agoYou'd have to contact ebay direct for that, although I'd say they're unlikely to change it at this stage. You have to click on help at top of page, get to the auto assistant and ask to speak to an agent.
