Listing removed as counterfeit despite date code pres
Hello,
One of my listings LV bag was removed for allegedly violating the counterfeit policy.
The item has a visible Louis Vuitton date code , correct materials, stitching, hardware and construction consistent with genuine LV items. No replicas or unauthorised copies were intended to be listed.
Could you please clarify which specific detail caused the listing to be flagged, and whether there is any way to appeal or provide additional information to review this decision?
I want to fully comply with eBay policies and avoid future issues.
Thank you for your help.

I suspect it was LV that reported it, they don't like their items being resold.
Read VeRo at bottom of page.

Yes, the wording from eBay is very confusing. My item is authentic and I clearly stated all details including the date code. I’m surprised it was removed without any proper verification.
I will read about VeRo as you suggested. It’s frustrating because I’m simply reselling a genuine item I own.
Thanks for your help.

Mentor6 months agoBrand owner had it removed, but ebay's robots always say Fake. About time ebay used some Intelligence.
That is what VERO is all about.
