This thread is for all bladed item tools but my current issue is jigsaw blades. I'm assuming the issue will be the same for hole saw, recip saw, multi tool blades etc Hi I have about 300 packets of jigsaw blades to list of varying brands and types and 100 or so hole saws. Under the new rules these have to be listed with age verification shipping which is fine although I think slightly ridiculous for hole saws. There are a couple of problems I have with this. Problem 1I have listed 100 or so packs of Lenox Jigsaw blades and the age verification warning came up so I have added said courier service to the listing and taken away the collect in person option as stipulated. This makes a single packet so expensive that no one will buy it but that's the rules and I'm hoping people will buy multiple items to make it worth while as the postage is only charged once. The issue arose when I listed some Bosch jigsaw blades eBay item number:377018677060 , eBay auto filled the item specifics and category but the only postage option I can offer is simple delivery which is a violation of the listing policy's. Custom postage is closed. What am I supposed to do about this? The new move towards simple delivery is causing these issues because its clearly not programmed correctly.Problem 2There are multiple I would say 100s possibly 1000s of listings offering single packs of jigsaw blades for under £5.00 for instance eBay item number:276595688168. The cheapest age verification postage I can find is more than that so they cant be listed correctly. Surely these listings should be removed or be advised by eBay they are in violation of the law and changed in a timely manor. If that's not the case then there isn't a level playing field for all sellers and my correctly listed items are not competitive because I'm trying to do the right thing and not skirt round the rules because I know the enforcement is rubbish.
