knives policy

I have just had three items removed owing to the e.bay knives policy. They are ordinary workman's tools such as end cutters side cutters . Tools that would be in any tool box. Not knives samurai swords kitchen carving knives or any thing that can be used as a weapon. You see I sell old tools . That what I do I don't think they are dangerous weapons. What can I do? Do the judges live in the same world as I do. apparently not.

Ebay does not make the law, and implementing is done mostly by robots who do live in a different world.

Ebay cannot monitor the millions of items listed, so have to rely on the robots. Common sense is lacking, as I saw recently a member who had a Jigsaw PUZZLE removed, as a bladed item.

Have a read of ebay policy https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/knives-bladed-items-policy?id=5047&st=3&pos=6&query=Knives%20and%20bladed%20items%20policy&intent=bladed%20objects&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1549

I agree E Bay may have to rely on robots to sort their knives polocy . But when the robots get it wrong and E Bay gets told about it. I would think the least they could do is put the error's the robots have made right. To let the robot's have the last say is wrong.. Or is it Orwells 1984.
