Keeps logging me into another account that is NOT mine!
I really need help! I went to log in to Ebay account earlier and said I'd been hacked. It told me to reset my pw. When it went to verification methods it showed an email address and a phone number - none of them were mine.
Somehow then after going around in circles I did manage to sign in and it has confirmed codes with my correct email address and sending codes to my correct phone BUT it is not my account!
It says my name but nothing has been bought on it.
I have been on Ebay for more than 10 years and have over 700 feedback but this account is just new.
I tried the chat phone but it just didn't help.
I did have this problem several months ago and SOMEHOW I managed to actually speak to a real person on the phone who sorted it out for me and we got my real account back.
Please what can I do?

Thank you for your post.
It may be the case that if you have two different email addresses another account was created in error at some stage. Start afresh and clear all cache and cookies. If you know the email address for your original account try logging in with that email address and changing the password. If your still having issues trying to log into the correct one contact customer support through the contact option here. They will need to verify your details and should be able to check your accounts.
