I’ve won a auction and paid via PayPal. Seller insisted on cash on collection.
I’ve won an auction and paid via PayPal. Seller insisted on cash on collection. How do I get my money back into my bank account. What do I need to do/contact? I’m collecting the item tomorrow and will pay cash on collection

Politely message seller and say you will collect as arranged.
Ebay will have sent you a collection code, give this to seller after you inspected goods.
Seller adds this to his account to release payment.

You can send the seller a polite message informing them of this fairly new ruling, and all collection items need to be paid beforehand through eBay checkout.
Your payment thru PayPal is all above board, and in fact , the seller will not know by which method you used to pay, it makes no difference.
To confirm, cash on collection is no longer allowed on eBay.

·10 months agoSellers are no longer allowed to accept cash on collection - Ebay just don't allow it.
You can't exchange details with the seller until you have paid through Ebay checkout.
If sellers ask for cash, Ebay don't get the Buyer Protection Fee which you have paid.
A separate but important issue is that you are not covered by the Money Back Guarantee if you pay cash.
So, if you get the item home and find that, on close inspection, there is an issue, you have got no protection.
