I've only received a partial refund for goods not delivered, not a full refund.
Summary: peter*triumph shared an issue regarding an eBay order where they received only a partial refund for items that never arrived. They mentioned difficulties in contacting eBay or the seller for resolution. red_magpie suggested the possibility that the two items might have been processed as separate orders, recommending that peter*triumph open an "item not received" case for the non-refunded item if within 30 days, or seek help from their payment provider if it's too late.
I ordered 2 items which was classifed as one order. The order never arrived and there were no tracking details provided. I received a refund for half the order but am still outstanding the other half of the amount I paid. Ebay says the issue is closed as I have received a partial refund. The seller is not responding to my requests. I cannot "speak" to anyone at Ebay or find a way to report that I am still outstanding monies. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I would have thought it was covered by the Ebay guarantee?

Mentor2 weeks agoYou have to open a case for each item. Not just the one.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedI suspect that your mistake is probably to have regarded these two items as being one order.
If the two items had separate listing no's eBay will treat them as separate purchases, even if your payment and postage were combined as one order. That means that you would have to open a separate case for each item.
If you're still in time (30 days from the latest estimated delivery date) you can still open an "item not received" case for the item that was not refunded. If it's already too late, your payment provider e.g. credit or debit card may still be able to help.
