Items delivered but still marked as dispatched

Hi there,
I’m relatively new to selling regularly on eBay with my new shop where I’m adding new items daily.
My question is, one buyer bought several small items and rather than buy postage for each item I packaged them together so save postage costs my end (as I offer free postage for buyers). However, a couple of times I’ve been forced into purchasing new postage over the counter as the package size was too large for the postage I bought through eBay.
Although my buyer has received their orders, I’m concerned that as I didn’t use the label I printed off (the post office sticker a new label over the top) it hasn’t triggered the system to say it was delivered and therefore order status is stuck on dispatched and I can’t manually change to delivered at my end. This is causing my funds to be on hold I think? Any suggestions?

Mentor1 week agoFunds will be held for 14 days. Nothing you can do if you used your own label but wait.
