Item sold onto a third person then damaged
I sold an item on the 24th August two days ago I received a return request from the buyer. They had sold the item on to a third person and that person has damaged the item and returned it to the first buyer. The first buyer wants to return it to me and have a refund is this within EBay policies? And should I refund the first buyer ?

Do not refund your buyer.
Has the buyer opened a return case or just messaged you?
