Item sold at different buy it now price than listed!
Hello everyone,
I listed an item at £550, but somehow it has sold at £495. Different itemised screens are showing different subtotals, I have screenshots of 3 different totals. I have a message with the buyer where he offers £500 last night but then show bought it for £495 this morning? Strange! Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Mentor10 months agoIt would be interesting to see the various figures you have been given as buyer protection on a £500 item would be nearer to £16 than the £5 which seems to have been deducted.
Possibly buyers offer was something like £510, including buyer protection fee.

Mentor10 months agoThis is normal under Simple Delivery procedures.
That is, if your buyer sends you an offer that you accept, you receive less as the Buyer Protection Fee is taken off.
The Buyer Protection Fee was recently lowered from 75p to a flat fee of up to £0.10, 7% on the item price up to £20, and 4% on items between £20 and £300. For items over £300, there is a further 2% fee on the portion above £300, with a cap on the total fee.

Mentor10 months agoJust to clarify it is nothing to do with Simple Delivery and all to do with the Buyer Protection Fee!
