Item sent to pick up point
I sold an item on eBay.
I selected purchase label and printed the label
now the buyer has said I’ve sent it to the wrong address as he clearly asked me to send to his home address and not the Evri pick up point. He said it’s my responsibility as a seller to check the address so I need to sort it out.
I thought it was the buyers responsibility to check they have clicked on the correct as I you can have multiple delivery addresses. Will my item be returned to me if he refuses to collect it? He’s opened a refund case but I don’t want to refund until I get my item back

Mentor5 months agoYou have to send to the address the buyer chose at checkout, which will be the address on any ebay generated label.
If you used simple delivery you are not responsible for any refunds for not received cases, and if you didn't use SD but have tracking showing delivery to the pick up point then you have seller protection.

OP5 months agoThank you. Might be a daft question but how do I contact eBay to tell them this?

Mentor5 months agoYou should not need to contact ebay!
If buyer opens a not received case and tracking shows as delivered to address provided by Ebay, then not your problem, case will close. Just wait to see if it gets returned.
Some buyers will do this deliberately hoping seller will refund, then they collect item,
