Item sent to my old address, undelivered
Summary: A participant posted about an item sent to their old address that was not delivered. tressygirl responded but only with 'None,' contributing no additional information.
I placed an order, didn't notice my eBay address details were my previous address. After waiting in and getting a notification it was undelivered, returning to sender, I tried to redirect but had no joy. I understand that I'm not the royal mail customer so it was unlikely but figured it was worth a try. So, as the item will return to the seller what typically happens next if I still want the item? What happens to delivery costs or if I decide I want a refund?
Appreciate any advice. I'm an irregular user of eBay as you can probably tell.

Mentor5 months agoFirstly, change your delivery address there are in fact 5 to change on your eBay account here:
https://accountsettings.ebay.co.uk/uas/addresses
The seller followed eBay rules and posted the item to the name and address eBay provided on the delivery order which you registered on your eBay account.
All you can do is to message the seller, explain the mistake and ask when they receive the item to kindly refund you. Nothing to enforce them, was it an expensive item?
