Item sent, buyer says not received, po says delivered .
Posted item order number 13-14644-49729, po says delivered 20 may, track no. 021a33c601e25c53. Customer says not received, Today I have been debited from eBay for a postage label for 3.65 for the same order quoting tracking no. VU071359689GB quoting label for the same order number. Customer paid for postage with the order on 17 may.
what is going on?
thanks

Mentor2 months agoYou have two tracking numbers one is a simple delivery label which according to RM website states we are expecting your order, the other number you show would indictate you bought the label at the post office and used this. Tracking with ebay will only show the simple delivery number not yours, (which as you say was delivered).
Customer could be trying it on stating item not delivered as they are basing facts on the simple delivery label used.
You need to go back to them and state the tracking number you used etc to prove delivery. You need to do this via ebay messaging as if the buyer subsequently opens a case you can prove delivery.

Mentor2 months agoIf this was an unused Simple Delivery label, the refund goes back to whoever paid for the label:

Mentor2 months agoIf you the seller, paid for the label, then yes, but you have to request the refund ( do so with the link I provided above ) and it must be done within 14 days.
The refund can take 30 days to appear back with you !

Mentor2 months agoMaybe their item was placed in an unsafe place and was stolen ? This happens all the time.
If you have tracking to show delivery, entering this into any case the buyer opens will close it in your favour.
If this was a Simple Delivery transaction eBay refunds the buyer anyway, and you get to keep the payout.
