Item returned as buyer didn’t pay the import duty
Hi people
I sold an item from UK to USA but the buyer didn’t pay the import duty so the item is on its way back to me by the shipper. There’s been no communication from the buyer so what are my obligations/responsibilities with regard to refunds etc?

Mentor5 months agoTechnically by not paying import duty, tariffs etc. that invalidates the money back guarantee, but you can hardly keep the money and the item.
I suggest waiting for item to come back to you, and then refund payment received less postage you have paid.
