Item price increases when I add it to my basket?
I am attempting to purchase 2 items from the USA. Both items have a set price, however when I add them to my basket the price of the items increases, so too does the cost of postage? I reached out to the seller and they do not understand why this is happening.

Mentor3 months agoIf the items are under £135 then 20% import VAT will be added.

The items shows as 180 dollars (£136) plus postage from USA
Then increases to 216 dollars (£164.04) postage increases too.
Items are Two’s Company Drink dispensers, one is Iced tea, the other Lemonade
Adds additional £100 approx or so to expected price? Then import tax to be added and not sure what this will be.
Appreciate your help with this.

Mentor3 months ago20% import VAT on 180 dollars is 36 dollars, making the correct total 216 dollars.
Without seeing the listing its difficult to comment on the postage cost.
