Item posted Via Royal Mail, but the item I have ordered should be KG
Wondering if anyone can help? I placed an order at the weekend for a wooden summer house. The item should be around 200KG and the length is 8 X 8. However, the tracking I have been sent it for Royal Mail. Royal mail do not deliver items of this size. I have sent the seller an email to query the order against the tracking and awaiting a reply. As the item has not been delivered yet, can anyone provide advice on what I should do?

·10 months agoDo you have other reasons to worry?
Is it an established seller with a lot of good feedback?
Although this does seem odd, all may still be ok.
Find the email you got when you paid.
What is the latest estimated delivery date?
If the item does not arrive, then you can (should) open a case for non-delivery one day after that date.
If you get something else (confirmation of sale, instructions for the summer house etc.) via Royal Mail, then you will need to open a 'not as described' case.
Come back for more advice if you receive an envelope or rhe latest EDD passes.

OP10 months agoThank you for your reply, I really appreciate it.
My main worry is that the item is listed as posted with Royal Mail for delivery. The seller has obviously sent something that will be delivered but there is no way that Royal Mail will be delivering a 8 foot by 8 foot summer house. Also the seller has listed that returns are not accepted, which is causing me a further worry.
The seller is now telling me that the item that Royal mail has for me is the instructions on how to build the house and the house has not been posted yet. But thats not what is logged within ebay as the recorded sale and dispatch. I will hopefully be able to follow the instructions that you have so kindly provided above for a positive resolution. Thank you again.
