24hrs later Seller sends message:
hi I'm very sorry to inform you that this product is out of stock
I paid using credit card. I have requested a refund from the seller.
What is the maximum wait time for a refund?
Why are sellers on ebay allowed to list items as in stock when they are in fact not in stock?

Mentor11 months agoYour seller should immediately cancel by selecting the 'out of stock' option and this will trigger your refund.
Ask if they've done this.
Once you have your refund I'd be leaving appropriate feedback about the item being out of stock.

Mentor11 months agoIf the seller hasn't cancelled the transaction check the estimated delivery date on the listing and when that has passed select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:

and escalate it 3 complete working days later to get a full refund.
