item not received
Summary: danieljb1995 is facing an issue with an item allegedly delivered via DPD instead of the initially paid Royal Mail special delivery signed for service. Although there is a photo of the item partially in the letterbox, the item is not present, and a leaflet mentioned it was left in a safe location without their consent. Despite appealing to eBay, danieljb1995 feels neglected as their appeal was rejected multiple times, leaving them financially out of pocket. **peaseblossom** advises danieljb1995 to persist with eBay customer service or contact their payment provider for a potential refund or chargeback.
Hi,
I ordered an item that was allegedly delivered two days ago. There’s a picture of the item half way through my letter box stating that it was delivered to myself. When I get home there’s nothing in the letterbox and a DPD leaflet stating it’s under my gate. I’ve checked under my gate and it’s not there. I paid for royalties mail special delivery signed for and it’s gone to eBay authenticators during the delivery process and they have changed it to DPD tracked. The items been left in a “safe location”, but I never declared for it to left in a safe location. I paid £11.95 for special delivery signed for to confirm that I received the item. This isn’t the sellers fault and eBay have rejected my appeal stating it has been delivered. I’m now £650 out of my pocket as I don’t have the item. I appealed the initial decision and the same person from eBay rejected my appeal, I feel very hard done by and don’t know what to do.

If still no joy contact your payment provider and ask about a refund or chargeback. Best of luck.
