Item not posted but marked as posted
Hi, the seller marked the item as posted then messaged me to say the item is damaged and will not be sent, how do I apply for a refund?
PS: I get the feeling this is some kind of scam

Mentor6 days agoIf seller cancels sale for damaged, he will get a defect, so is likely to wait for you to either open a not received case or ask to cancel purchase.

Mentor6 days agoThats why you need to open a case for item not received when it's passed the delivery date.

If the buyer says the item is damaged they need to refund you and there is no excuse why they can’t. If they don’t refund you wait til the last estimated delivery date given to you and open an item not received case via the money back gaurantee to force it through. If seller doesn’t refund after three days on day four escalate the case with eBay.
DO NOT close the case for any excuses from the seller.
